# Voucher Templates

When creating a voucher, you’re required to choose a voucher template. This template design is what’s received by the recipient of the voucher.

To create Voucher templates, navigate to Vouchers > Templates and click Add New at the top. Alternatively, you can also edit an existing template by hovering over the template name and clicking Edit from there.

On the next screen, you can see a canvas for designing your voucher template. Let’s see what options you have for template designing.

# Canvas Settings

In Canvas Settings, you can specify the size of the canvas and background type.

If you set background type as background color, a color picker will appear next to it which allows you to choose the color of the background.

If you set it as background image, you can choose media from the field next to it.

# Image

This option allows you to insert an image on the voucher template. You can choose any image and resize it according to your design preferences.

# Text

This option allows you to add text fields on the voucher template.

In the voucher template shown, the section highlighted were created using text fields:

You can insert as many text areas as you want, drag them around the canvas, and resize. You also get text styling options to choose fonts, font sizes, colors, etc.

Here’s all the options that are available.

1. Choose a font: Choose the font style of the text inserted here.
2. Choose the font size: This option allows you to choose the font size of the text inserted.
3. Text Color: This option allows you to choose the color of the inserted text.
4. Text Style: This option allows you to set the text as bold or italic.
5. Text Alignment: Choose alignment of inserted text from left align, middle align, or right align.
6. Duplicate: This allows you to create a duplicated copy of the text.
7. Delete: This allows you to delete the inserted text.

# Form Tags

The plugin lets you insert a number of form tags that will be dynamically replaced with actual data that is entered when the user enters the details of sender and recipient when creating the voucher.

The following form tags are available to use. They can be inserted anywhere on the canvas with drag and drop functionality.

Sender-name: this tag dynamically replaces the name of the sender as entered on the voucher form.

Sender-email-address: this tag dynamically replaces the email address of the sender as entered on the voucher form.

Receiver-name: this tag dynamically replaces the name of the receiver as entered on the voucher form.

Receiver-email-address: this tag dynamically replaces the email address of the receiver as entered on the voucher form.

Amount: this tag dynamically replaces the amount of the voucher being sent.

Expiry-date: this tag dynamically replaces the expiry date of the voucher.

Form tags also have the same styling options like text fields explained above.

# Barcode

This option allows you to add a barcode in the voucher template. A unique barcode is generated for every voucher order.
