# Customer Rule Type

On selecting the Customer rule type, you get the following options:

Select Items: Here, you have the following options:

  • All Users: The rule will be applied for all types of users. For example, if a maximum limit of 100 items is specified, the plugin ensures that no more than 100 items can be ordered by all users in the given time frame.

  • Every Single User: The rule is applied for every individual user. For example, if a maximum limit of 100 items is set, the plugin ensures that a no more than 100 items can be ordered by a single customer in the given time frame.

  • Selective Users: The rule is applied for the selected customers. On selecting this option, you’ll then be able to choose the specific customers in the field below.

  • Roles: The rule is applied for the selected roles. On selecting this option, you’ll then be able to choose the specific roles in the field below.

  • Guest Users: The rule is applied for guest users.

Applied on: Choose from Amount or Quantity from the dropdown menu. Amount is the total order value calculated while quantity is the number of items added to cart.

Limit: Set a Maximum limit by entering a quantity here.

Click More Options to see advanced settings.

Disable: Enabling this checkbox will disable the rule. This way you can temporarily disable a rule without deleting it.

Enable Time Span: Enabling this option lets you add a time frame in which the limit will stay activated.

  • Select Time Span: Choose from Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, or Custom. When Custom is chosen, it lets you choose a start date and an end date from the calendar.
