# Creating Category Rules from the Category Page

In the above sections, we walked you through the process of creating category level rules from the WC Order Limit tab on the menu. There is one other way of adding product level rule: adding it from the Edit/Add Category screen.

To do that, navigate to Products > Categories and hover over a category shown in this list and click Edit. You’ll now be taken to the Edit Category page. Scroll down and you’ll see the WC Order Limit option here.

All the rules you have created earlier that apply to this particular category will appear here.

To add a new rule, click Add New Rule button.

All settings and options are exactly the same as explained in the above section.

However, when adding a rule from the category page itself, you can only create the rule for this category and cannot select multiple categories. This is also why there is no option to apply the rule accumulatively.

You’ll also see the option to add new rule when adding a new category from the Categories screen.

Clicking on Add New Rule opens all the options and configurations available for creating a new rule for this category.
