How It Works

After installing and activating the WooCommerce Catalog Mode & Inquiry Form plugin, you need to Go to Dashboard >> Catalog Mode. Move to the Settings tab, you can enable catalog functionality for different users, Enable or disable Catalog Mode setting to users from specific Countries, hide the "ADD to Cart" button on different pages and for different products. On the shop page, you can replace "Add to Cart" and "price" with different customizable buttons >> click "save" to get the changes.

Here are the main features of the WooCommerce Catalog Mode & Inquiry Form:

Global Settings

In the settings tab of the plugin you can set multiple options which are as follows:

Enable Catalog Mode For:

In this feature, you can enable the catalog mode options for all users or just for guests or role based users.

Additional Geolocation Filter:

This feature allows you to apply the catalog mode options only to users from specific countries, that you will be able to set in the following options:

• Enable or disable Catalog Mode settings to users from specific countries: In this feature, you can enable or disable the catalog mode for All users or guest users and select countries. For example, if you want to make the catalog mode option only for customers from the USA who can purchase products, choose disable catalog mode for all users from the USA.

Disable Shop

Disable shop feature allows you to hide the “Cart” page, “Checkout” page and all the “Add to Cart” buttons in the shop in just a single click.

"Add to Cart" settings in Catalog Mode

This feature allows you to hide or show the “Add to Cart” button on all pages/Shop page/Product page. You can also apply these rules to all products or only to selected products set up in the exclusion list. For example, if you Hide the Add to Cart only on the Shop page, your users will not be able to purchase the products from the shop page, they have to visit the product or other pages to see the Cart button.

Hide product variations:

This feature allows you to enable or disable product variations on the shop page. For example, if you want to hide product variations from the Shop page as shown by WooCommerce (Select options link) or any other plugin that allows you to show variations.

In product and shop pages, replace "add to cart" with:

In this feature, you can hide the Add to cart button or replace it with one custom button of your choice on the product page and the shop page. You can customize these buttons on the Buttons & Labels tab.

Price Settings in Catalog Mode:

This feature allows you to hide or show the products “Price” on all pages/Shop page/Product page.

Where hidden, replace price with:

This feature allows you to replace the price with one of the custom buttons you’ve set up or show nothing.

Exclusion List

In the exclusion list tab, you can create as many exclusion rules as you wish, for multiple Products, Categories, and Tags. They will be listed in a table and you will be able to see a quick summary of the rule and how the behavior of Add to Cart button and Price have been overridden. Go to Dashboard >> Catalog Mode >> Exclusion List and click on Add new to add a new rule to this list. Let’s see what it is for and how it can be configured to meet your needs.

Start creating the first rule for products, categories, or tags.

• Item Type: select the item type on which you want to apply a rule. These items are products, categories, or tags.

• Select Products: this field allows you to select one or more products, categories or tags, based on what you’ve selected in the item type field.

• Inquiry Form: enable or disable this feature to add an inquiry form on selected items.

• Use to custom options for "Add to Cart": you can enable or disable this feature. If you enable this feature you can perform following options.

  • Set "Add to Cart" as: using this feature you can hide or show the "Add to Cart" button on slected items, you can replace it with a custom button in the below options:

    1- Replace “Add to Cart” on the product page with

    2- Replace “Add to Cart” on the shop page with

• Use to custom options for Price: you can enable or disable this feature. If you enable this feature you can perform the following options.

  • Set "Add to Cart" as: using this feature you can hide or show the product prices on selected items, you can replace it with a custom button.

Inquiry Form

WooCommerce Catalog Mode & Inquiry Form allows you to create and customize contact modules to give your users the possibility to get in contact with you to ask for price and stock for products in your shop. From the Inquiry Forms tab, you will be able to set up the inquiry form.

• Set Inquiry Form As: Choose whether to enable the inquiry form to all products or only to the ones in the exclusion list.

• Form Plugin: Choose the plugin through which you have created the form.

• Choose Form: Select your desired form you want to use.

• Show Form in: Select the form position on the product detail page and you can choose between an additional WooCommerce Tab or the product short description area.

  • WooCommerce Tabs: If you choose the WooCommerce tab, a new tab will be added on your product page and you’ll be able to customize its title, the text before the form, and whether to include a permalink to the product page in the email that you’ll receive or not.

  • Short Description Area: If you choose short description area, the inquiry form will appear on the selected area. This feature allows you to set form position which maybe "after price", "after short description, or "after cart button". Users can also select form style which maybe classic or hidden in toggle. In Classic style, the form will print with a shortcode. In toggle style, the toggle button will add and the form will appear only when the customer clicks on it.

• Tab Title: Add inquiry form tab title which will be visible on the product detail page.
• Text Before Form: this field allows you to add intro text before the inquiry form.

Button & Label

WooCommerce Catalog Mode & Inquiry Form plugin allows you to create many different custom buttons with your own style. You can replace the custom button with the following:

• Cart Button on the Shop page
• Cart Button on Product Page
• Price on Shop Page
• Price on Product Page

WooCommerce Catalog Mode & Inquiry Form plugin provide two sections for buttons which are the Content and Style section. Let's take a look at how to create a custom button using these sections.

In the content section you will see the following options:

• Label Text: In this field, you can add custom text of your button, with custom formatting in the textual editor. In the preview section, you can also see the frontend preview of the button.
• Link To: this feature allows you to link this button to an unlinked text label, product page, and even you can link this button to a custom URL.
• Icon: pick a custom icon from the list or upload a custom one. You’ll be able to customize its size in px and alignment.

In the Style section, you will be able to change button text color, icon color, button background color, border style, border color, button size, and many more.
